![]() Every evening we would enjoy the beautiful sunsets, and the view of le Morne in the distance. The hotel has a very nice relaxed atmosphere, and it felt personal, not massive. We were always able to find sunbeds available. The hotel grounds are lush and tropical, very well cared for. My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton in Mauritius. Sincerely, Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, Marketing Team Thank you again for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future as we continue to improve our offerings. We're also delighted to hear that our team treated you well and helped make your stay a pleasant one. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the adults-only pool and our selection of water sports equipment, and that our happy hour offerings provided an enjoyable and affordable way to unwind. We also take note of your comments about our a la carte restaurants, and will explore ways to make the booking process more user-friendly for our guests. Regarding our dining options, we appreciate your feedback and will do our best to improve the variety and quality of our buffet offerings. We're constantly working to update and improve our facilities, and your feedback will help us identify areas where we can focus our efforts and as you might have heard, the hotel will be closing for renovations work as from the 15th of April 2023. We're sorry to hear that you felt our hotel is showing its age, and that some aspects of our interiors and facilities didn't meet your expectations. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed our beautiful location in Flic-en-Flac, away from the hustle and bustle of Northern Mauritius. I will undoubtedly come back to Mauritious and the Hilton is well worth a look if you are coming here too.…ĭear jong2014, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. The staff are lovely and helpful - we could not have asked to be better treated. In terms of positives (and there are many), the adults only pool was a calm haven, the use of kayaks, pedalos and paddle-boards was all included for free, and the happy hours at the various bars made sundowners an inexpensive ritual. The dining experience here is a reminder that The Hilton chain is not the pinnacle of luxury that it perhaps once was. Buffet food is often basic, but I have had a much better selection of higher quality food at far less expensive hotels. The buffet, then, is your main eatery and the food is only just above average. They are not open every day, so don't leave it to the last minute. There are a number of a la carte restaurants that need to be booked at least a day in advance. One key area for improvement is the food. The gym is tired and pokey with dated equipment, while the overall interiors across the hotel lack the finesse of newer hotels in the same price range. The rooms are nice and spacious, but a little worn. When it was first built, it must have been very impressive, but it does show its age. ![]() Low rise and unassuming, the hotel has the appearance of an upmarket complex of villas, all set in a verdant landscaped garden. Away from the hustle and bustle of Northern Mauritious, Flic-en-Flac is not a built up area at all, and the design of the Hilton reflects that. In many ways this is a gorgeous place to stay. A big thanks to the Director Mr Brune who made sure that we had a seamless stay.… Also the entrainment group was wonderful from Jessica, Serge and his team. ![]() Ms Sweta at the spa was wonderful at hairstyling, also at the boutique shop Sara and Veena. A huge thank you to the housekeeping team specially Mrs Annick, Ishka who always made sure to leave a special attention to the rooms and decorations, and Mrs Wenda who always took care of the public spaces. A big thank you to the Chef de cuisine and Ms Stephanie Bess and Mr Naushad for the amazing birthday cake also to Mr Auday. A big shout out to the restaurant personnel as well Jannick, Mr Kunal, Yannick, Joseph, Maya, Mrs Naighy, Mrs Premila, Mr Kundun and the whole team and bar team along with Mr James, Juliana and also working at the breakfast a big round of applause to you all. Front staff Maria, Nina, Damien, Rajesh, Jean Michel, Stephanie Lavictoire and all the others were so welcoming and very accommodating. It was my third stay at the Hilton in one year and the whole team was the absolute best again! I also celebrated my birthday there which was an amazing organization from the whole team.
